Mkhulu Credo MuThwa’s Last message to the world

The Great Message

My friends, my story must end here, and perhaps others will continue it in the years to come, the gods willing.I ask for permission now, in the name of the Light, in the name of the Dweller on the Doorway, in the name of the Commander of the Seas and the Skies, in the name of the Empress of the Stars, in the name of the Ever-Living Mother.

May the Light accompany you as you walk across the plains of this world. May Truth be the star that shines not only above your heads but deep within the kindled cores of your souls. May Peace, the most fragrant of flowers, attend you no matter where you go. May sustenance never be lacking in your village, water never scarce in your streams and rivers, and love ever present in your hearts and in the hearts of your children. May your beds always be fresh, fruitful, and inviting. May love always be with you until the end of your days. May war be far from the borders of your lands, and anger distant from the mountains of your lives.

As this thundering millennium draws to its close, may you be protected, shielded, and cherished until you witness the beginning of the new. Let me sing this last song here, the hymn of peace that I sang on a troubled night when guns filled the skies with the whine of bullets after the government of President Mohammad had been sent tumbling into the sea.

In my native language, I sang

Masikhanye Masikhanye,

 Isibani Sokuthula,

 Masikhanye Masikhanye,

 Isibani Sokuthula

 Empumalanga,

 Entshonalanga,

 Isibani Sokuthula

 Empumalanga,

 Nasenyakatho,

 Isibani Sokuthola

 Masikhanye Masikhanye

 Isibani Sokuthula

My mission is to create understanding between human beings of different nationalities and races. Thus, every song that I sing in my people’s language must have a direct English translation, adhering to the beautiful tune of the song. With your love and permission, I shall sing the song again, this time in English, to conclude our talk:

Let it shine, let it shine,

Oh, let the lamp of peace always shine.

Let it shine, let it shine,

Know that the lamp of peace shall shine

In the North and in the South,

In the East and in the West.

Oh, let the lamp of peace shine

Between white men and black men,

Between humans and animals,

Between men and women,

Between nation and nation,

Let the lamp of peace alight every place.

And when, at the end of time, the fading universe calls back each fugitive galaxy and runaway star, when the planets are once more required to become one with the great mass from which a new universe will be born, let the lamp of peace be the one thing remaining in that eternal dark until the voice of God is heard again, and creation is reborn.

Peace be with you all, and health, and enlightenment, and plenty, and happiness, and justice. Peace to you.
